Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation Support Services Handbook

At Kookaburra Kids we know that it can be challenging to find the right support.

That’s why we’ve created our Support Services Handbook to help you and your

family to find the support that is right for you.

Our handbook provides an overview of mental health services that you can access

for support with:

  • your mental health and wellbeing
  • accessing free and low-cost counselling services
  • how to seek support for your young person
  • how to talk to young people about mental illness in the family
  • youth and social support groups for young people
  • where to report child abuse and neglect in each state or territory
  • parenting strategies for young people experiencing difficulties
