On behalf of the team at Kookaburra Kids and our amazing kids, thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered and who was part of our Charity Dinner held at NSW Parliament House last Wednesday night, March 9. With your awesome support and generosity we raised just over $73,500!

Special thanks to our MC for the night, Kookaburra Kids Ambassador Chris Bath, Ambassadors Jessica Rowe AM, Peter Overton, Jim Wilson, Young Ambassador Rose Cox and Patron John Brogden, and sending out a warm welcome to our new Ambassador Lucy Brogden and Parliamentary Partron the Hon. Scott Morrison MP. We must also thank our guest speakers Kookaburra Kids’ Ursula and Jessica Rowe AM for sharing their personal stories and Mark Vincent and the Australian Army Band for their amazing performances. Thank you to our Major Strategic Partners SUEZ, PAYCE, Thales Australia and the Big Sister Foundation, and of course all of our supporters who kindly donated their time or items for the auctions.

We must also thank the wonderful team at NSW Parliament House and Lee Evans MP, Member for Heathcote, who kindly sponsored the event and who made it possible. Kookaburra Kids appreciates the wonderful support you all provide, allowing us to continue to help kids living in families affected by mental illness. Together we can make a difference!
