Our Organisation

Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, (previously known as Camp Kookaburra) was founded in 2002 by Dianne Madden, who through personal experience identified the lack of support for children living in a family affected by mental illness. The first camp organised by Dianne was held in 2002  with just16 kids in Sydney. Today over 2,800 kids are registered to the Kookaburra Kids program which is being delivered in all major capital cities.
