We are delighted to announce after months of hard work and preparation, the team from Ray White Menai and Sutherland delivered a dazzling fundraising dinner, The Event, raising $22,500 for Kookaburra Kids.

This is the 5th year Ray White Menai has hosted the annual fundraising dinner, with the proceeds from each event going to a local charity.

Gavin Ottaway, Principle at Ray White Menai said, “The Event is all about local people supporting the local community and the work the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation do is something our team is immensely proud to support”.

About 210 people attended the fundraiser on Saturday July 9th, at Club Central Menai.

Commencing at 6.30pm, excited guests were greeted to a room filled with bright balloons and fun atmosphere! Entertainment was plenty, with live performances from Let’s Groove Tonight and renowned comedian Darren Carr, who had the guests in stitches with his first class ventriloquist show.

Guests were generous with their donations, eagerly bidding on a fantastic selection of live and silent auctions items and other fun fundraising games.

Kookaburra Kids CEO Pam Brown spoke about the fundraiser saying how important and encouraging it was to see so many local business and community members working together to make a difference in the lives of children who not only need the help, but deserve it.
