Today, Wednesday 20 April, 25 kids from the NSW South Coast supported through the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation enjoyed a day of bouncing fun at Flip Out.
Kookaburra Kids provided the school holiday activity day as part of its newly launched South Coast program; dedicated to supporting kids from the south coast and Illawarra regions who are living in families affected by mental illness.
Today’s activity was provided free to all participants who are enrolled in the Kookaburra Kids program.
Pam Brown, CEO of Kookaburra Kids, said, “School holidays can be a tough time for some families, our program give our Kookaburra Kids children a chance to have fun and experience new things while also providing a much-needed break for families.”
Currently Kookaburra Kids supports over 1000 children across NSW, including the South Coast and Illawarra regions.
Kookaburra Kids’ South Coast program will deliver a number of weekend camps and school holiday activities over the coming year to children aged 8 -18 years living in families affected by mental illness.
