Barry brings a wealth of commercial experience and a global perspective to our team at the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation. With over 25 years in the banking and finance industry, Barry’s professional experience has been marked by strategic corporate insights in new markets, building a strong risk management culture, and a commitment to corporate governance which he now brings to the Foundation.

Barry’s banking career began at Macquarie Group, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the structured finance business across Asia during the late 1990s. His passion for building international businesses led him to Bank of America where he was Managing Director of the International Asset Finance division based in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he served as a Director in ANZ Bank’s corporate finance division in Sydney.

Barry holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of New South Wales. He is a chartered accountant and a member of the Australian Corporate Treasurers’ Association.
