Joanne McCafferty

Deputy Chair

Joanne McCafferty is a senior executive with more than 20 years experience across international corporations, government and politics, including Vice-President External Affairs & Communications at Thales, Chief of Staff to the NSW Minister for Finance & Services and other senior public policy roles.

Joanne has extensive strategic planning, government relations, corporate affairs, communication, management consulting experience. She has worked in a range of industries and sectors with executive teams, Boards and stakeholders to manage the challenges of dynamic private and public sector environments across Asia, Europe and Middle East to achieve sustainable market/ profit growth, and improve shareholder value.

Joanne was appointed to the Board of the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation Inc. in July 2016 and in March 2019 became Deputy Chair.
