Patricia Reid

Chair

Patricia has over 38-years local & international experience as a Non-Executive Chair & Director and former CEO, with a functional background as a CFO and EY Partner.

She was CEO of the largest Australian freight rail leasing & maintenance business, RailFirst Asset Management, where she served for over 16 years, initially as Chief Financial Officer, driving business growth from early-stage to a business with assets of over $500M.

Patricia’s background as CFO includes local ASX listed and Hong Kong trading groups. Prior to this she started her career at EY in the UK, again for just over 16 years, initially advising companies in the London Oil & Gas Group, and then as Partner in EY Hong Kong advising large multinational US, European & Australian clients expanding in the Asia Pacific region.

Patricia brings a depth of experience across governance, audit & risk, finance, capital raising, strategy development, commercial operations, technology transformation, M&A, ESG, and has a deep understanding of the strategic importance of organisational culture.

Other directorships currently include Tellus Holdings Group, with prior board roles held in all companies in the RailFirst Asset Management Group and the British Chamber of Commerce.  Patricia joined the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation Board in 2015, and initially chaired the Audit & Risk Committee and then became Chair of the Board & the Governance & Culture Committee in 2019.
