Kookaburra Kids launches 20 Years of Service celebration at Kirribilli House

The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation (Kookaburra Kids) is celebrating its 20th year of providing services with an event hosted at Kirribilli House by the Honourable Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia.

For the past 20 years Kookaburra Kids has provided a unique model of pre-early intervention mental health services and education through Camps, Activity Days and online Connect sessions. Chris Giles, AKKF CEO said “we have proudly created a multi-layered service that is flexible to the changing and developing needs of young people and we are proud to be delivering these services nationally”. Currently supporting over 2,600 young people aged 8-18 years old, Kookaburra Kids has seen over 8,000 participations from registered kids over its 20-year history.
