Staff Profile – Tracey!
In this instalment of Staff Profiles, we have a chat to Tracey from the Programs Team!
Staff Profile Questions:
- How long have you been working for AKKF?
I was a Volunteer from 6th June 2017 until July 2019. I was then employed with AKKF and have undertaken roles in Administration, Volunteering and now as a Program Coordinator for over two years.
- What does your job entail?
As a Program Coordinator I am responsible for organising our Activity Days and Camps, as well as the facilitation and delivery of our programs including CONNECT to our young people and their families.
- What do you like most about your job?
I absolutely love being able to organise some new and exciting programs for our young people. To get to see them face-to-face on programs or on CONNECT via Zoom is the most incredible feeling!
- What do you find most rewarding about working for AKKF?
Those smiling faces that come on program are the best and most rewarding part of my role with AKKF.
- What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
When I’m not working, I like to walk my two Miniature Schnauzer dogs at the beach every morning at 5am so that I can see the sunrise. I also enjoy getting to the gym to keep myself fit so I am ready for when our AKKF Camps start up again.
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would like my superpower to be “flight” – then I could go anytime I wanted to see my youngest daughter who lives in the US!
- Pineapple on pizza? Yes or No
Pizza is not a pizza without loads of pineapple on the top – so a massive YES!
