We’re Hiring – Clinician (0.8 FTE) – VIC (Position FILLED)

Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation’s (AKKF) purpose is to empower young people (aged between 8 – 18 years) to thrive beyond the impacts of mental illness. Through our age-based, recreational, early intervention programs, we make a difference in the lives of the young people we support.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services and working as a key member of our Clinical Services team, this part-time role (4 days per week negotiable) is responsible for providing clinical support and organisational education. Your role will include:

  • Providing clinical assessment, support, and ongoing management of young people within AKKF programs and services.
  • Ensuring evidence-based practice is inherent in all aspects of care and treatment and assist in disseminating knowledge throughout the clinical area and AKKF.
  • Developing and maintaining AKKF’s Clinical risk management program, ensuring AKKF remains compliant and always embodying contemporary practice.
  • Ensuring employees and volunteers are trained to deliver AKKF’s programs including risk management and compliance.
