Shoutout to Ryan for 500 Hours of Volunteering!
Let’s give a massive round of applause to Ryan, who’s officially hit 500 hours of volunteering with Kookaburra Kids!
Ryan brings empathy, energy, and encouragement to every program he’s part of, helping young people build confidence, feel seen, and form lasting connections. Whether it’s a chat group or a campfire game, he’s there with a smile and a listening ear.
We recently celebrated Ryan and our incredible ACT volunteer crew with a fun day of bowls at The RUC Turner Bowls Club, a well deserved moment to relax, connect, and say thank you. Our volunteers also received their Kooka Pins, proudly recognising the time, care, and heart they give to the young people we support.
Volunteering with Kookaburra Kids is not only rewarding, it’s fun, supportive, and a great way to empower young people impacted by family mental illness. If you’re looking to give back in a meaningful way, we’d love to welcome you to the team!
