Join us for an exciting day of adventure at Stand Firm Adventures as part of Connect & Grow: A Young Carers Program by Kookaburra Kids.
The Day Camp is the heart of our five-session wellbeing journey. Throughout the day, you’ll take part in two wellbeing sessions where you’ll connect with other young carers, explore topics that support your mental health and wellbeing, and discover your own strengths in a safe and supportive environment.
Between the wellbeing sessions, you’ll enjoy plenty of fun and adventure, including:
- 🧗 Indoor Rock Climbing
- 🌿 Low Ropes Challenge Course
- 🤝 Team Building Activities
Together, these experiences will help you build confidence, make new friends and create lasting memories with other young people who understand what it’s like to support someone in their family living with a mental illness.
Please note: The Day Camp is made up of two program sessions and is part of the five-session Connect & Grow journey. To get the most from the program, participants are expected to attend all sessions.
All young people must be referred to Kookaburra Kids to be eligible to participate in programs.

Once registered as a Kookaburra Kid (via the referral form on our website), participants can select and register for events through our online booking system. Book
