We recently had the incredible honour of receiving a $55,000 cheque from the Royal Perth Golf Club!

As the main beneficiary of their Women’s Charity Day for 2024, this generous contribution will play a crucial role in supporting young people impacted by family mental illness in Western Australia.

The cheque was presented to our WA Community Engagement Coordinator, Amie O’Brien, who delivered a deeply moving presentation. Amie shared her personal story of growing up in a family profoundly impacted by mental illness, which resonated with the audience and highlighted the importance of the work Kookaburra Kids does.
