Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation (Kookaburra Kids) is established as a company limited by guarantee. The Board of up to 10 directors operates under a formal constitution which states its membership, operating procedures and the apportionment of responsibilities between the Board and management.
The organisation has a broad team located in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Townsville. Kookaburra Kids provides services to children and their families in these locations and surrounding regions.
In accordance with its constitution, directors of Kookaburra Kids hold their position in an honorary capacity and receive no remuneration. They are all extremely passionate about supporting young people living in families affected by mental illness.
