Our Kookaburra Kids team in Townsville recently joined the local Veteran Community to stand up for an important cause.

In August, the inaugural Veterans Homeless Sleep Out took place at the Thuringowa RSL Club, and our Community Engagement Coordinator, Hannah Gallinar, was right there alongside local veterans.

Hannah spent the night outdoors to raise awareness and much-needed funds for homeless veterans, shedding light on this growing crisis in Townsville.

Hannah has been working closely with families and communities in Townsville and Cairns for many years, helping them understand the benefits of referring young people to our mental health resilience programs at Kookaburra Kids.
