Head of clinical services

We are pleased to share we have commenced recruitment for our new Head of Clinical Services.

Reporting to the CEO and working as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you be responsible for:

  • Leading by clinical excellence, you will oversee our Clinical Services function, ensuring our Clinical Services are aligned to our clinical philosophies, with a key focus on supporting young people to thrive beyond the impacts of family mental illness.
  • Providing clinical oversight of our programs and program delivery, including clinical supervision on programs.
  • Responsible for assessing and reporting on any clinical risk areas to the CEO and partnering with the CEO to devise strategies of mitigation.
  • Managing the intake and ongoing support processes for our young people, ensuring the intake and review processes, are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Working with our AKKF team to develop, plan, and deliver relevant training (i.e., mental health training), for our staff, Volunteers, and Clinical Consultants, ensuring relevancy for each target group and alignment with evidence-based best practice.
  • Providing guidance on the mental health literacy content within our programs; including the development of manuals, policies, procedures, ensuring relevance for each group and evidence-based best practice.
  • Management of our Clinical Service team, including the recruitment, coordination, and supervision of Clinical Consultants.
  • Oversee third party consultants/contractors providing research and evaluation services.
  • Participate in our programs (both face-to-face and online), with a focus on providing continuous improvement to the clinical areas of the business.

Head of Operations

We are pleased to share we have commenced recruitment for our new Head of Operations.

Reporting to the CEO and working as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end planning, logistics, scheduling, risk management and delivery of AKKF programs and services, ensuring there is coordination and collaboration across the organisation to enable programs to be delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Build and manage relationships with young people and their families within our program, to ensure a positive experience with AKKF, resulting in repeat engagement of our young people and families on programs with AKKF.
  • Working with the broad AKKF team to ensure the needs of the young person and their family, remains central to the design, development, and delivery of our programs and services.
  • Lead the Operations team, fostering an open, supportive, collaborative, and values-based work environment.
  • Regularly participate in programs (both face-to-face and online) to ensure a high-quality program delivery and service, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR (WA)

The opportunity:

If you enjoy working with young people in this sector, then this role is for you. Reporting to the Head of Operations and working across our full program offering, this part-time (FTE 0.6) role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of allocated programs (face-to-face and virtual) to our young people and families. Responsibilities also include pre-program site inspections, pre-program debriefs, program logistics, program safety and first aid, on program coordination and engagement of our volunteers, program administration and reporting.
