had the pleasure of attending the launch of our generous Patron, John Brogden’s new book, Profiles in Hope. In this inspiring collection, 15 prominent Australians courageously share their deeply personal stories of surviving suicide. You can learn more about the book here: Profiles in Hope.

During the launch, we were humbled to see so many come out in support, not only of the book but of its message of hope. It reinforced how we all must work together in the fight against suicide and its devastating effects. It was also wonderful to see many of Kookaburra Kids’ Ambassadors in attendance, including Peter Overton, who helped host the event.

A huge thank you to John for bringing these stories to light and raising awareness about mental health. He recently spoke about the need to raise awareness on Channel 7’s The Morning Show.
